Claim Documents to be submitted for BSNL Free Insurance Coverage by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India subscriber at the time of claim are as follows:

For Accidental death claim

• Duly filled and signed claim form
• FIR copy
• Post Mortem Report
• Death certificate
• Latest paid BSNL bill of subscriber OR if new connection, Paid demand note copy
• Proof of legal heir of subscriber /succession certificate

For Permanent total disablement due to accident

Permanent Total Disability means:

• Loss of sight of both eyes.
• Physical separation of or loss of ability to use both hands or both feet.
• Physical separation of or loss of ability to use one hand and one foot.
• Loss of sight of one eye and physical separation of or loss or ability to use either one hand or one foot.

i) Duly filled and signed claim form
ii) FIR copy
iii) Disablement certificate issued by government hospital
iv) Full photograph showing disability clearly, attested to Government Doctor mentioning the name of the patient / subscriber
v) Latest paid BSNL bill of subscriber OR if new connection, Paid demand note copy

BSNL Offers Free Insurance Coverage for Subscribers

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India offers free insurance coverage for its subscribers. The insurance company Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited provides insurance coverage in case of Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disability due to Accident. The insurance coverage scheme will be applicable for the subscribers of landline including WLL & postpaid Cellular services. This scheme will not be applicable for subscribers under Government, PSU, Corporate customers, NGOs, PCOs etc. The insurance coverage period starts from 14th January, 2008 and it is for one year. Capital sum insured per connection is Rs. 50000/-. If a customer has four connections, then total insurance coverage of that customer will be Rs. 200000/- (two landlines, one WLL & one postpaid mobile or vice versa).

All claims will be settled centrally directly by M/s Bajaj Allianz Insurance Co. Ltd. at Pune Office.

There are two new DNS Servers for DataOne BSNL Broadband Service. The primary Domain name servers (DNS) Servers IP is 218.248.240.208 and the secondary DNS Servers IP is 218.248.240.135.
